At the end of June 2023, Vietnam's civil aviation authority (CAAV) decided to temporarily suspend GMF authorization certificate No. VN-336NN/CAAV, CAAV assessed that GMF must improve the report occurrences related to significant maintenance errors that occurred on VietJet Air aircraft. Temporary suspension stated at 30 Juni 2023 until CAAV decided to re-instate the GMF Authorization.

As a corrective masure, GMF was required to submit full investigation reports, along with corrective and preventive actions to mitigate the risk of future incidents, to CAAV before authorization can be reinstated.

Following a review of the investigation reports, including the corrective and preventive actions taken by GMF, as well as CAAV's follow-up actions, it has been determined that GMF's quality system is now in compliance with CAAV requirements. Therefore, CAAV has decided to fully reinstate the authorization of CAAV certificate No. VN-336NN/CAAV for GMF, effective from 14 September 2023.[TQY]
