On October 18, 2023, Garuda Indonesia hosted Safety Day 2023 in the auditorium of the Garuda Management Building (GMB). This event, which included safety exhibitions, safety shows, safety talks, and safety fun games, was attended by Garuda subsidiaries and Directorates in Garuda Indonesia.

In the Garuda Indonesia Safety Day 2023 event, the GMF's Board of Directors collaborated with GMF Heroes to participate in a safety show video competition with the topic Integrated safety action starts with yourself. Furthermore, GMF has set up a booth displaying safety programs at GMF. In addition to getting information about safety, at the GMF booth, visitors can take part in quizzes and puzzle games with prizes.

The theme of Safety Day 2023 is "Connect to Protect," which aims to build partnerships between individuals and groups to collaborate together in maintaining safety levels, and the most important thing is that the synergy between Garuda Indonesia Group members in maintaining safety is becoming stronger.
