The United States Civil Aviation Authority, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), conducted an audit at GMF as part of the renewal certification agenda. FAA auditors, Jesus R. Gonzales and Gabriel Serano conducted an audit at GMF from May 8 to 15, 2023, to check that GMF met with the FAA's aircraft maintenance standards and procedures.

On the agenda, beside assess the implementation of quality systems, tools & equipment, storage, maintenance records, and facilities at GMF, the FAA is also conducting an assessment and evaluation of the proposed new additional capability maintenance for A320 Landing Gear and Engine GE90.

Based on the results of the FAA audit, The FAA auditors expressed their appreciation and noted that the audit results of GMF were generally satisfactory. However, Jesus R. Gonzales and Gabriel Serano have given additional remarks and recommendations for an improvement to make GMF even better. [TQY]
