PT. Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk held the Quality System Management Review (QSMR) and Safety Management Review (SMR) second semester of 2022 on January 31st, 2023, which were attended by the GMF Board of Directors, all Vice Presidents, Senior Managers, and representatives of the Safety Action Group.

Safety Management Review (SMR) is a formal evaluation by the safety committee to review the safety and quality performance achievement of the organization. This management review is led by the accountable manager as a chairperson of a safety committee that ensures the SMS is effectively implemented for the changing and future needs of the company. It also ensures that Safety Performance Indicators (SPI) are well controlled. As for the results of the review, the Safety committee approve changes in safety objectives due to changes in hazard trends in previous years. The changes of GMF Safety Objective in number 3, “To enhance the safety perspective of maintenance personnel”.

Andi Fahrurrozi as a President Director and Accountable Manager expected this agenda to be a useful review that brings better improvement as the result. The challenges will be harder in the future, but there is an opportunity for the company to grow and advance. It is necessary to improve Training Effectiveness. In addition, the impact of training on employee behavior needs to be evaluated so that it can have a positive impact and enable employees to work more safely. At the last, he conveys that SAG Chairman ensures the supervisor/manager, maintenance personnel, and support should improve discipline and safety behaviors in the workplace.
