GMF Aeroasia, Tbk has been implementing the Safety Management System since 2008, tools have been used to carry out Safety Risk Management with several hazard identification methods, including the Predictive side including HIRAM & M-LOSA, from the Proactive side there are IOR, Surveillance, and Audit. Then from Reactive side there is an investigation using MEDA method.

Safety Risk Management is an integral part of the activities of PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk as an aircraft maintenance company. Activities to identify risks early on and design mitigation have a major impact on the level of safety and quality of the products produced. The better the Safety Risk Management is implemented, the greater the chance to achieve the best level of safety as well as better product quality.

PT. GMF Aeroasia, Tbk has never stopped implementing improvements. Safety Inspection unit performs a Safety Risk Management analysis periodically that derived from data of Predictive, Proactive and Reactive method. The data sourced from 3 hazard identification methods are analyzed to map what hazards are contained in PT GMF Aeroasia Tbk, then defines the safety strategic plans that must be carried out by each Safety Action Group (SAG) as an improvements. The hope is that the Safety Strategic Plan can be carried out comprehensively and consistently by each business unit in the company so that expectations about working safer and producing the best product quality can always be achieved.[TQY]
