The Quality Assurance & Safety (TQ) Department will conduct Aviation Maintenance - Safety Management System (AM-SMS) Training in July 2021. The AM-SMS training is part of a continuous safety improvement process at PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk which this training aims to develop a new Safety Messenger so that they can act as Safety Promoters, Safety Accessors, Safety Pears, and Safety Trainers.

In this training, the participants will receive 9 training modules. These modules include Understanding Safety, Basic Safety Management, Safety Risk Management, Hazard Identification & Safety Reporting, HIRAM (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment Management) Process, Safety Investigation, Safety Management System Requirements & Implementation, SMS Gap Analysis & Implementation Plan, and Safety Promotion & Safety Action Group (SAG).

The new Safety Messengers are expected to be able to implement safety in their work areas so that the quality and safety aspects in GMF can be improved.
