GMF Covid-19 Prevention

The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been identified as the cause of an outbreak of respiratory illness in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China beginning in December 2019. The World Health Organization has declared the novel coronavirus outbreak a public health emergency of international concern, after an emergency committee reconvened in Geneva. The decision was taken due to with rising numbers and evidence of person-to-person transmission in a handful of cases outside of China.

On 9th April 2020, a cumulative total of 1,518,518 COVID-19 cases were reported all over the world. The coronavirus COVID-19 is affecting 209 countries and territories around the world and 2 international conveyances (source: worldometers.info).

In order to minimize the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19), GMF has been performed preventive actions that include:
1. Room disinfection activities in all GMF areas including mosques and management buildings.
2. Provide hand sanitizer in each office and public area.
3. Apply physical distancing for employees who are still working in the office and in the public transportation.
4. Issuing policy regarding work from home for employees.
5. Checking the body temperature and use of mask before entering the office.
6. Appeal to employees to washing hands often with soap and water. Flexed elbow or tissue when coughing or sneezing.
7. Provide vitamin mask to covering mouth and nose.

Many kinds of tips in dealing with coronavirus disease has been performed. Nevertheless, we all have a responsibility to protect ourselves, and others. [TQY]
