Aircraft Cleanlines During New Normal

Facing the new normality situation, PT GMF Aeroasia Tbk certainly plays an active role in implementing the new normality readiness by still complying with the health protocol. In accordance with the direction of the Ministry of Health and the Health Quarantine Center of Soekarno Hatta Airport, each operator and provider must take special measures for all aircraft, as a preventative measure for the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Rizal Yopi Panama as MGR Aircraft Cleaning said, GMF was conducting aircraft cleaning actions for aircraft that were active or still on standby.

"For aircraft that have a standby status, GMF conducts prolong maintenance which is carried out periodically based on an agreement with the customer. In its maintenance, we maintain and control the humidity so that the aircraft's condition remains safe and ready to use," he said.

When the aircraft is going to be used for airborne, Rizal said that GMF always carries out cleaning measures a minimum of two days before the aircraft is used. These actions include cleaning the cabin, exterior, and installing a cushion that was previously removed when the aircraft is on standby.

"The most important thing is cleaning the cabin is done by using disinfection procedures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus to the cabin crew and passengers. Thus, all aircraft that we maintain are ready to use in clean and hygienic conditions," he said.[tqy]
