In January 23rd, 2020, Quality Assurance and Safety (TQ) Department was organizing Safety Action Group (SAG) Workshop in Hangar 4 Auditorium. The SAG Workshop is annual event for discuss related to Activity Plan for next year (2020) based on previous safety evaluation. SAG Workshop 2020 was opened by Director of Business & Base Operation, I Wayan Susena. "Some cases in the hangar area become examples that safety must be implemented properly and Discipline Execution is the most important key for program implementation so that safety is consistently carried out and is inherent in the behavior of each personnel", Wayan said.

In 2020, there are 15 items of mandatory activity plan that should be perform by each SAG. Eight items are recommendation from SMM 1.2.8 and the other items are Safety Culture Survey Recommendation. Eight items are Overseeing Operational Safety Within the Functional Area through Surveillance and MLOSA activities, Managing the Area’s Hazard Identification, Internal Risk Assessment Report, Risk Mitigation, Maintaining and Reviewing relevant performance indicator by internal safety promotion and HIRAM for management of change, Managing Safety Training, Managing Promotion Activities and CoPQ recorded. Furthermore. The other items related to Safety Culture Survey Recommendation are Safety Culture Encouragement by safety reward, in-house training & sharing session, internal surveillance and safety promotion enhancement.

As closing of SAG Workshop 2020, Vice President of Quality Assurance and Safety, Sukarya said "SAG is a frontline in managing safety in each area, SAG should be acting as a role model and must be able to transmit a culture of safety through more massive Safety Promotion. Role and fuction of 'Safety Messenger' in each area is needed to increase GMF safety level. As said by Director of Base Operation, Discipline Execution is the most important key for implementing the program consistently". [TQY]
