QSMR & SMR Semester 2 2018
- March 2019
PT GMF AeroAsia held the second semester Quality System Management Review (QSMR) and Safety Management Review (SMR) at the Audiotorium Hangar 4, March 18, 2019. The event was attended by the GMF, VP, and GM Board of Directors scheduled to present Safety & Quality Hi -Light Issues, Follow-up / Action of Previous QSMR, Product Quality Performance, Safety Management Review, Customer Feed Back and Improvement and Development Program. |
The assumption uses the PSOE parameter system (Present, Suitable, Operating, Effective). "From the results of this assessment, GMF is at a low operating level," he said.
This level states that GMF has the appropriate infrastructure and procedures as a growing company. However, commitment is needed to improve the implementation of each rule in the procedure. There are 22 recommendations from Baines Simmons that must be followed up, so it is expected that in 2019 GMF can reach full operating level. "The assessor called the GMF a sleeping giant. Therefore, we must make improvements so that we become giants who really wake up, "he said.
On the other hand, during 2018, GMF also succeeded in gaining various additional ratings for airframe, engine, and component capabilities. Even GMF also managed to get a rating line maintenance for B787 and A350 aircraft. "We can still get ratings for the type of aircraft that have not been operated by local operators, this is an advantage for GMF," he said.
GMF President Director Iwan Joeniarto hopes that the expression "sleeping giant" from Baines Simmons can inspire leaders and employees that GMF is a big company. According to DT, GMF has a complete device as a large company, namely facilities, approval, and market. For this reason, improvements from all aspects, especially safety and quality, are important so that the company will grow and develop. "We have to wake up from sleep, to be truly giant," he said.[TQY]
