In January 17th, 2019, Department of Quality Assurance and Safety (TQ) was organizing Safety Action Group (SAG) Workshop in Hangar 4 Auditorium. The SAG Workshop is annual event for discuss Activity Plan for next year (2019) based on previous evaluation related to Safety. In 2019, there are 11 items of activity plan which mandatory to Each SAG. Total of nine items in activity plan are recommendation from SMM 1.2.8 and four items are Baines Simmons Assessment Recommendation.

Nine items in activity plan which mandatory are include to writing in Safety Promotion Media, ERP Socialization, SMS Socialization, HIRAM Socialization, Safety Risk Management Socialization and Mitigation, MLOSA Awareness Socialization, Safety Briefing Sheet, Safety Campaign with Audio Visual Management, Managing Safety Training and Activity SAG Reviews. Furthermore, 4 items Baines Simmons Assessment Recommendation are Safety Risk Management Training for dedicated person, Risk Register, MLOSA Training and Perform MLOSA.

Vice President of Quality Assurance and Safety, Mr. Endra Wirawan, said “In 2019, the challenges to face in implementing safety are increasingly high. In order to meet this challenge, role and function of SAG needs to be optimized to improve Safety Performance in GMF”. If the improvement has been implemented, it is expected that GMF levels could increase. From Baines Simmons Assessment in 2018, GMF Levels is on Low Operating Organization. "It is targeted that by 2019 this can be increased to a Full Operating and Effective Organization," Endra said. [TQY]
