The Safety Action Group Narrow Body Base Maintenance (SAG TJ) was officially formed on February 19, 2019. The inauguration of the SAG TJ was marked by the signing of a joint commitment between VP Narrow Body Base Maintenance Suhartono and VP Quality Assurance & Safety Endra Wirawan. TJ became the 20th SAG at GMF.
The formation of the SAG TJ begins by giving debriefing to the structural and functional ranks. This briefing is to increase knowledge and insights about the safety of personnel at TJ.

As a member of SAG, the training participants will oversee the implementation of the SAG program at the TJ Service.Furthermore, SAG TJ creates an activity plan for a period of one year.

"This is a good action because it was recently formed, Dinas TJ has immediately established SAG," said VP Quality Assurance & Safety Endra Wirawan. This TJ Service step is a good response to development and safety awareness.

On this occasion, Endra invited SAG TJ to follow up on the findings of the Baines & Simmons assessment which is a stage of the GMF cooperation process with KLM AFI. According to Endra, currently many aircraft operators are entrusting their fleet to GMF. These conditions make production activities even higher, so that even more hazard. "We must be aware of this by continuing to increase awareness and implement safety," he said.

According to Endra, safety has clear and absolute conditions that should not be anything that endangers people and assets such as aircraft, equipment, facilities and others. "Everything that is harmful must be eliminated or minimized," he said. [TQY]
